The product is a mobile prescription order entry system solely developed for use in India. Using this App doctors will be able to electronically prescribe drugs to patients and the patients will receive the prescription as a Text message which they can take to the drug store for filling. The unique feature of this application is the fact that we have designed and developed a full and complete database of drugs that are licensed to be sold in India. We have the generics, brands, strengths, route and dosage built-in into the application. This is the first ever comprehensive electronic database of drugs in India. The app is intuitive and doctors can write prescriptions in a few seconds. Using this app offers many benefits: one, it minimizes medication errors. Medication errors are a leading cause of many complications and deaths in India and rest of the world. These are entirely preventable and this app is a small step in that direction. Two, in India there is no track record of medicines that they have been prescribed to patients. This leads to drug over prescription or over dosage. This app keeps track of all prescriptions of each patient resulting in better utilization of drugs and minimizing consequent side effects. This app is the first version and soon we will be adding may more features to this app.
